Who am I

My name is Samrat Kar. A resident of Bangalore, India. I hail from a lovely small town - Bhagalpur, in Bihar, India. Currently I work with an MNC in Bangalore as a software engineer.
So that is where I hail from, and what I do to earn my living. But certainly not who I am.
I am what I stand for. I stand for equality, freedom, prosperity, peace, happiness, and creation. I stand for anything that contributes to make things better. So, what do I do to keep this stand? Well, I had been doing lot of things off late. I had been involved in various social cause right from my school days. I continued it even in my current work place. Off late I had a realization that I am tired of playing small. No matter what i do, any way I do, I might not be able to create a planetary impact if my life goes on in this note. I need a quantum jump from the finite to the infinite, from the ordinary to the extra-ordinary, from being part of the crowd, to lead the crowd. I decided that I will make a social impact in a planetary scale, and in a sustainable way. I shall leave a legacy. I believe that the poverty is the worst epidemic ever existed in the existence of mankind. Poverty has to be removed. The moment poverty is tackled, most of the world's problems will be solved automatically. Now, being a software engineer working 8am - 10pm, it is easy to say that I will work towards eradicating poverty in a planetary and sustainable scale. I know it seems impossible. But, I stand for the possibility of me spending my breath, soiling my hand, toiling my sweat for the global cause of eradicating poverty - creating prosperity and peace in the world. Yes, I am what I stand for. And I stand for a poverty free world. A world which does not have to worry about survival. A world which is engaged day in and day out in refining human values and adding to the richness of human contribution.
